Pictures
of what is believed to be an 1860 Springfield Rifle Musket (of the
1855 version) with
Maynard Tape Primer, 1859 breach assembly, triple blade sight, and
brass cap on end of stock. This rifle was not a common piece with
the Roundhead Regiment and is thus an important historic find.
Thanks to Michael Kraus and Skip Wiese who helped identify the weapon. Note "K"
