David Beverage, Co. M pension card; contributed by Kate Eakman, Pvt. David Beverage of Co. M who was injured (not wounded) and discharged on disability shortly after the Battle of South Mountain, September 14, 1862. Why? Apparently he was run over by an artillery caisson.
